What they actually build here.

Most kids only consume games, videos, and AI. x99Lives is the studio where they learn to make them — with the same tools working artists use, in a small room on Southern Blvd, with a mentor at the desk.

One Room. All Levels.

Every program on the homepage lives inside one of these tracks. Younger kids start with beginner tools and finished projects they can show off. Teens step into the full professional stack.

Ages 7–12

Junior Dev

Foundational digital art, AI, and visual effects with beginner-friendly tools. Kids leave with a character, a short edit, a 3D print, or a playable world — not a worksheet. Classes are 90 minutes. Perfect if they love games and you want the screen time to turn into a skill.

Ages 13+

Senior Dev

The step up for teens who want their own game, their own short film, or a real content channel. Industry workflows in animation, 3D, VFX, and game development. Designed by Rob Eckert from Hollywood productions including Shang-Chi, The Suicide Squad, Don’t Look Up, and Love, Death & Robots.

Our programs

Same six programs from the homepage — with what a parent should expect a kid to walk out holding.

A.I. & Generative Art

Grok, Higgsfield AI, and Open Claw

Kids learn to direct the tools instead of just scrolling past them. They write prompts, revise, and finish original work.

  • Avatars, concept art, and animated assets
  • Character sheets and poster art they can print
  • How to tell a good result from a messy one

Motion Graphics & Video Editing

CapCut, After Effects, and Premiere Pro

They animate an idea and cut it like a pro — titles, timing, sound, and a finished clip they can send to grandma.

  • Short promos, highlight reels, and motion titles
  • Storyboarding before they touch the timeline
  • Junior starts in CapCut. Senior moves into After Effects and Premiere.

3D Design / 3D Printing & Visual Effects

Blender and Tinkercad

Build it on screen, then hold it. Kids model characters, props, and simple scenes, then print the ones that are ready.

  • Tinkercad for first models, Blender for real 3D
  • Printed figures, tokens, and game pieces
  • Basic lighting and VFX so the still looks cinematic

Game Development & World Building

Unreal Engine, Unreal Engine for Fortnite

The game they already play becomes the classroom. They design a level, a rule, and a reason to replay it.

  • Fortnite islands and interactive scenes
  • Story, layout, and playtesting with the group
  • A shareable world, not a tutorial they abandon

Design & Branding

Canva, Photoshop, and AI tools

Visual communication: logos, team identity, thumbnails, and social graphics that look intentional.

  • Color, type, and layout in plain language
  • A logo or banner for a game, team, or channel
  • Portfolio pieces, not random stickers

Esports

Streamlabs, OBS, CapCut, and Canva · Ages 13+

Streaming and content the way competitive players actually do it — setup, overlays, commentary, and a clip worth posting.

  • Stream layout, scenes, and safe on-camera habits
  • Highlight edits and channel graphics
  • Wednesday esports coaching, 2pm–6pm

How a class works

Small group. Mentor at the desk. Something finished before they leave.

01

Show up

No laptop required. Stations are ready. First day is a tour of the tool, not a lecture.

02

Build

90 minutes on one project. A mentor walks the room. Kids help each other when they get stuck.

03

Finish

Every session aims at a file they can open at home: an image, a clip, a print, or a level.

04

Keep it

Work stacks into a portfolio. Monthly students get a make-up class in the same month if they miss one.

Before you book

Do they need experience?

No. Junior Dev starts from zero. If they can use a mouse and they like games or drawing, they are ready. Senior Dev is for teens who want the harder tools.

Is this just more screen time?

They are making the thing, not watching it. A class ends with a file, a print, or a level. That is the difference parents notice after the first month.

Can I see the studio first?

Yes. Tours are free. Call or text 561-408-3717, or email info@x99lives.com. Studio is at 10113 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach.

What if they already do camps or homeschool?

Weekly classes are the ongoing track. Camps, homeschool blocks, open play, and Parents Night Out sit next to it. Tell us the age and we will point you at the right door.

Ten minutes in the room tells you more than this page. Bring them. We’ll put them on a station.
